Pros

The strap is comfortable and quickly adjustable. I appreciate the option to use hook/loop or plastic buckles to close the flap.

There is a very accommodating, padded computer sleeve that will fit up to a 15-inch laptop. The back compartment(s) are divided and padded nicely with a very soft liner suitable for a baby nevermind my macbook and ipad.

Everything about this bag is well thought out and intelligently designed. The design is flawless. The bag is sturdy and attractive.

Bag has room for lenovo thinkpad and samsung chromebook. Wife puts her laptop, ipad and huge headphones in the bag. Still enough room to roll up a hoodie and toss in there tho.

Cons

This new bag was pressed into service and didn't last a year. Condition was listed as pristine condition.

Most larger laptops are approx. And the laptop will still not fit down into the bag.

As far as messenger bags go this is a very quality product.

I did do a head-to-head with the timbuk2 classic messenger and command messenger in medium.

If my experience with the manufacturer is any indication, this should last at least 20 years.

In essence, this commute feels very much like the classic messenger with the padded laptop compartment.

I bought this to try to take the place of a timbuk2 custom commute bag i had built maybe a decade ago.

I rarely rebuy products unless i think they are great.

Bought my wife a timbuk2 messenger bag about 10 years ago, she finally wore that one out.
