My other complaint is that timbuk2 did a horrible design with the sternum strap.
The material of the bag is a high quality nylon plastic type material and feels rather resilient.
Inside this area also there is a separate zipped portion with two dividers and a high quality key leash to attach keys to.
Packaging/appearance
Carryon backpacks without them tend to get all misshapen and the contents flop around given enough movement.
Competitiveness
All my timbuk2 bags have been durable and long lasting.
I love my new timbuk2 wander pack.
I'll probably replace them with small biners and some tri-glides one of these days.

It should be noted that the mesh pockets are built into the top of the bag which folds open and shut and are both very large

I had to pack winter clothes and business attire and this bad was more than sufficient

On another note i purchased this as a returned item with a cosmetic flaw the bag was not checked and it had some unsanitary items from the original owner still in the bag

It took me a while but i discovered the reason it was returned was a missing sternum strap
