The organizing pockets on the inside are perfect and in plain view when you open the pack.
Competitiveness
I'm a fan of timbuk2 products so this was easy to love - my daughter uses it for college, super practical and durable.
The timbuk2 logo also doubles as an extra strap to secure things like a bike light or a quick place to clip something.
I discovered the timbuk2 brand by accident on youtube and bought this bag sight-unseen.

The bottle pockets on either side of the backback do not stretch and are good for slender water bottles bike locks glasses cases portable batteries etc

They are deep and hold things snugly they do not stretch nor are they meant to be as timbuk2 focuses on people who move around and travel stretch pockets get snagged or get caught or give out and ive had to stop my tracks to turn around to pick up my bottles more times than i would ever want to

The water bottle holders on the side are sturdy but because they are nonstretchy they are limited to any bottle with diameter less than 89 centimeters which is enough for my thermos

It can withstand a light rain but if it comes into contact with too much water it can permeate the material and make the inside damp
