On my late 2012 imac 27 inch which originally had 8gb of ram installed as two off 4gb memory modules things were running slow when i had a couple of apps running at the same time

I was thinking to upgrade ram to 8 gb but after reading multiple reviews claiming that this mac can be upgraded to 16 gb

One thing i will say is make sure you have the correct screwdriver to take the back case off as for mine it’s a phillips 00 but for the late 2012 retina model it’s different
