Bottom line is that they take a licking and even through theyre a timex they may not tick properly because the glass bulb has shifted in the case and this will cause a temperature offset

If it tens to move easily then apply a dab of glue or hotmelt glue somewhere along the glass bulb to hold it in place

To me it looks attractive in a sleek sort of subdued but slightly shiny white color

And most importantly in my opinion it thus far seems to read the temperature wherever i place it accurately

And that is without me doing any sort of calibration tests like some other reviewers have mentioned or suggested

And by my best estimate the timex was telling me pretty much the exact same thing
