Pros
The timex clock was sold as new but was refurbished and even came with a 30 day warranty card. The clock seems to work but consider buying from another seller where you get a new clock when paying for a new clock.
Overall i like the radio but have found it exceptionally difficult to program the presets! Just right size for bed side table.
Cons
Was not in original packing, only a reused box. This one is a much inferior model of the timex.
Ten presets for the radio is too many because you won't be able to stand more than a few seconds of the scratchy, screechy sound of the radio on this thing. The directions are so convoluted. This is definitely an alarm clock i wouldn't recommend.
If you set the alarm to radio instead of buzzer, sometimes the buzzer goes off anyway. Since the aux functionality is pretty pointless, aux mode is indistinguishable from truly being off. Could never figure out how to snooze/shut off alarm.
This am/fm radio has a very hollow, biting sound. It is very irritating to listen to.
