Pros

The attachments are useful and are easy to put on and take off. Attachments work well and securely attach. Makes cleaning drapery and upholstery possible.

Easy to clean (the center cylinder comes out of the waste collector for really easy cleaning) cleans well. Only complaint is clean up - instructions state to empty the canister and wipe out with a damp cloth.

It is super maneuverable and capable of getting down low to vacuum underneath sofas and beds. It lasts for the entire main level of our small house (~1000ft^2) which consists of mainly hard floor surfaces with a few smaller area rugs.

Cons

Tineco vacuums are way hyped up. The suction power even when the max button is pushed is mediocre at best. It just, pardon the pun, *!

I was tricked into buying the tineco spartan model on sale for $199. Realistically, the price point is great, but, ultimately you get the suction equivalent to cost.

The battery also only lasts about 5 mins on a full charge.

It has to be constantly cleaned, filter changed, fur clogs it. I am so frustrated with it just moving the litter around and not picking it up. Was good at first but took this unit to the dump today.

I had issue with the motor 8 months after i bought it.

I am disappointed because it is only about 5 months old, when it worked it was a fine product.

I purchased a tineco vacuum through a recommendation from a friend.

All in all a great vacuum for the price.

And it's like 1/3 the price of a dyson.
