Highlights
Quality
Except for the ending, a great book.
I am very familiar with the locations in the book and i could imagine mable racing down alvarado street.
Prior to starting this, i’d read only single chapters in other books that dealt with the william desmond taylor murder mystery.
Competitiveness
Easily as good as 'the devil in the white city,' imho.
