Pros

The tool works great, a little bulky in tight places. It's a bit finicky when starting out as you have to make sure it bites well enough on the stud - but for me it worked very well on 40 yr old studs.

Used it on multiple things, such as to install studs on a cummins isx exhaust manifold and turbo studs. Will rebuy extractor for broken exhaust manifold bolts. Worked well removing broken exhaust * studs along with a lot of heat. Not blaming the tool ...  Read More

    The stud i tried it on did not budge however this would not deter me buying this tool

    Unfortunately when i got the broken stud out i tried releasing the stud from the extractor the unit got jam and stuck and started to fall apart the locking ring in the extractor started to pop out of the unit

    If you want to use it on a broken 6mm stud you will have to sleeve the stud to get this tool to cinch down

    You must have about 12 inch remaining for tool to bite
