Highlights
Quality
My dog is very hard on these stakes and i feel perfectly comfortable that the dog is secure with this product.
I've had good luck with the $12-$15 dome stakes, but thought i'd give this one a try.
Our dog is a very large dog and pulls with the strength of a hundred fifty pound dog.
Just pound them with a mallet until the plate is flush with the ground.
Competitiveness
I have a 90lb gsd who has pulled up numerous conventional spikes and twists after bending them to bits in record time.
Perfect for my 100lb mastiff and 60lb pit mix while we camped
My 60-lb dog has ruined two previous stake-outs.
We have 55lb dog that bent and pulled her first tie out very quickly.

We got one of those screw in the ground hooks from a local farm supply store and he bent it almost double without even trying

After 23 months she would have it completely bent to the point that it was nearly impossible to get back into the ground

It is still fully secure in the ground while she yanks the crap out of the stake trying to protect us from the mean ups man who gives her treats or the leaves that blow across the yard threatening our safety and security

Once you get this thing hammered into the ground it you are going to have to dig it out to move it
