The key function works though the piece that receives the key can move so its sometimes tricky to ket the key in the lock to lock or unlock it

This case is excellent value very heavy duty and exceeded expectations in every way it is tight for a 5 inch deep guitar body however if you have more than that it wont fit

I measured before i ordered and it seemed to fit but when i tried to close it the lid and base did not match up

It closes fine empty so i am assuming the guitar is pushing it out just enough to throw it off

I did not force the guitar in but upon inspection it does seem like the padding is puffed slightly above the closing line

Really a nice case but it cost more to ship than the actual case
