It lasted about 6 months before it actually broke but even with it broken the two side still stay on and provide protection until i replace it

There is an extra rubber piece on the backside that looks like it will give my 3ds more support when the screen is open which is a good thing in the end

Another thing i like about the case is that is makes it harder to accidently turn updown the volume when you’re playing a game as it gives you an extra buffer around the volume button so your finger is not sitting on the slider
