I feed output into hdmi-over-dual-cat 5 runs, one of them about 60 feet long, and this thing pushed the signal through just fine.
I put some small rubber feet on it and works great.
Old unit was large and took up a lot of room, but this thing is very compact but does the same job.
Power light stayed on when unit was off.
