I have not dropped the phone so i cant say for certain it would be protected but i do like the case

It looks to be a tpu case with a the leather cover portion very glued to it with very strong adhesive

There is one thing i would tweak to the case to make it better though a magnetic lid to keep the lid closed and activate the phone when the cover is opened kind of how the apple ipad covers work
