This cable works great for video but unfortunately doesnt carry audio for my macbook pro 2012

For those looking to replace hdmi or use this as another expansion its a great cable but i can not recommend if you need it for audio purposes

You might need to adjust your display output settings on your computer for optimal settings

This item works as described be aware though as they posted that with older model macs the sound will not be transferred over this cable and an extra audio cable has to be connected
