Really the only thing that matters is the twist of the strands and the density of the copper strands

For a direct connection for a pc to pc or switch to switch connections you would need a crossover cable

I received a discount for the cable although i like them and will buy more at full price

Does what it suppose to and has a solid connector that will work in the majority of computers and consoles
