    Its shielded well enough that i hear no 60hz interference hum

    It may be worth noting that even with this shielded cable you may hear some 60hz hum until you connect both ends because the connector nipple acts as an antenna

    Apparently on those old tvs unshielded cables like this could actually distort the image
