The buckle system locks it to the chair. Because of the fabric it still wiggles around a bit especially with a squirmy child. There’s another set of buckle to secure the baby. It has a harness if you want to strap them in.

Cushions are well madeand easy to clean and sanitize! It is easy to use and install. The cushions are soft and can be taken out for washing. It wipes clean and the brown color will go well with just about any decor.

After open it, it expends to good thick firmed foam. The seat is very cushy and my toddler hasn't complained about sitting in it at all. This little toddler booster is super squishy and soft.

This booster seat feels cheaply made. The seat on my chair is smaller than the booster cushion. The restraints are ill-fitting as well. It's flimsy and doesn't connect the bottom and top.
