I have found a way to somewhat avoid this though if you hold your other hand above the top part of the blade while you are cutting it acts as a shield that allows the toenail to bounce into one spot instead of fly in the air all crazy

The key chain is a nice addition it can clip any left behind pieces

My children have never wanted to trim their own nails but after reading the reviews on these clippers i thought these might work for them

Just by looking at these clippers you know that they are going to be strong enough to clip any toenail no matter the thickness
