Pros

Tom's has a nice mild minty flavor and has fluoride which is something that i like. The flavor is sweet and minty, a pleasant taste with a mild foaming action.

The charcoal makes the paste itself black, which van be a bit off-putting at first.

The charcoal helps to whiten your teeth, the fluoride inside the toothpaste prevents your teeth from cavities and the peppermint refresh your mouth. It has fluoride to help prevent cavities, and the charcoal helps remove stains.

It is definitely peppermint flavored. The peppermint aftertaste hangs around with me for about 20 minutes or so after brushing.

After just one use, i noticed whitening effects, and unlike many other charcoal toothpaste varieties, it doesn't have a charcoal taste.
