I can put my fingers on top of the fuel can below the lit and running stove with a pot of water on top of the stove and not have to pull my fingers out from touching the fuel can now i only boil water so i am not simmering for twenty minutes so that could affect this plus no one should ever use a windscreen with this type of stove because it will trap heat around the fuel canister
