Doesnt work with bigger sized needles but clearly that is not the purpose of this item

It took me a while to find out how to use the second threader the one which the hook slides out

These little plastic threaders have a hole for a needle in the end opposite the keychain attachment

They even have a concealed spring to retract the hook as soon as pressure on the yellow part is released
