This came right from china and it took weeks to ship

You just wind 5 wraps of wire around one of your spark plug cables and feed the other end to the sensor where it slips into a vgroove on the back of the unit

It senses the current in the plug wire via the coil formed by the wire wraps but does not connect to any engine electrical connections
