The beading string has a nice plastic threading end on it that my 15 month old can thread a bead on if i hold it for her.
My only complaint might be that the paint is very glossy, so the blocks seems slightly slippery when stacking them.

The designs are great colors are bright no complaints there ultimately i did return it because i was looking for a large block set for my toddler daughter and these blocks were much much smaller than i expected them to me

However this block set was on the first page when i typed in large block sets for toddler girls 24 so maybe amazon needs to tweak their algorithm to check product specs before putting incorrect things in search results
