The white stiff plastic frame of the trays feels like it might crack if you twist it too much to loosen the cubes but just pressing on the green silicon base of each cube compartment doesnt always remove the cube

That isnt the case i believe that would only be possible if the whole cavity was made of the rubbery green material

They come with an instruction manual dont know why as filling an ice cube tray is not complicated however its worth reading as the english translation can be humorous

I considered the slightly cheaper ones on amazon but after reading bad reviews about badly fitting lids i avoided them and bought these
