Then before you tighten the lid put the plastic rubbery thing back in but upside down as its impossible to put it back in as before and then twist to seal

It does come with a hand pump but it would take hours to empty the bad of air with it

Very easy to use huge storage capacity and once all the air has been sucked out are almost flat
