Pros & Cons
Pros
Overall a worthwhile purchase. An improvement on my old one, which cost more and was advertised as being'sticky' i practice yoga every day so am prepared to change my views if the mat becomes problematic.
Cons
It is massively overpriced for the quality that you get. The only perk is that it is recyclable. Would not buy again, my old yoga mat (bodhi) is much better.
The £40 mark is just too expensive for this and i feel like i have been conned. The cheap £5 yoga mats my office has bought is a thousand times better.
However, this mat disappoints in other ways. It has no grip if there’s any hint of moisture/ sweat on your hands, which defeats the point of it being an exercise mat for me. Gutted, might use it for yin yoga.
The description is ridiculously misleading. Even doing a simple side plank can cause this much damage. I keep slipping on the mat halfway through my workout.
