The wallet opens and closes with a hinge-like effect. The stitching looks high end and the imprinting of the magsafe symbol helps to align the correct side to the phone.
The stand is adjustable to any angle and can be used portrait or landscape. It feels very secure, secure enough to also use as a sort of a grip if you open the stand a touch and slip you hand underneath.
The magnet holds strong, and while you could flick the wallet off the back, you'd have to be pretty intentional about it. The mechanism also keeps the wallet closed tightly without any magnetic help which is good for the credit card stripes.
Camera is free and clear for pics with no blockage by this wallet. Convenient for hands free usage as well for vedic calls or streaming something of netflix. I love that i no longer have to tote a wallet and my phone.
