I bought these because of the drainage holes because the ones i had before made the soap go slushy and these ones keep the soap from doing that for that purpose the are great and do the job nicely but i have them sitting on a ceramic sink with a very slight incline and when the water comes into contact with the dish and the ceramics then the dish starts to slip as there is no adhesion between the two can not fault the dish though its sturdy easy to empty and put back together but would not recommend for ceramic sinks with even the slightest incline but would work well on flat bases ellie mcg
