Pros

This stand is very sturdy to support my custom butcher block desk top and was a breeze to assemble. The frame isn't lightweight--it's sturdy (translation, it's a bit heavy).

High-quality pieces, motors that are hidden in the legs. The motors are quiet and all you'll hear is a soft buzzing. It works great and the motor is smooth.

Cons

There were pieces and parts missing. There were no directions or a manual either. Some of the pieces were damaged from obvious use by the previous purchaser.

Delivery was uneventful, and i have to say that the packaging was top notch.

Also, the box was heavy so you'll need two people to move it.

Competitiveness

I bought a couple of pre-stained wood countertop pieces from the big home store in town, and mounted them to this desk frame.

Even though i initially intended to buy a new table top, i ended up reusing the table top from my ikea desk.

Similar l-shape motorized height adjustable table cost at least $1000.
