The instructions didnt 100 inform you how to install but luckily the manufacturer has a tutorial on this part on youtube

The only thing i would suggest is when assembling the desk when you get to the part of installing the sliding keyboard to scan the qr code and watch the youtube video to make sure you install it correctly
