Pros & Cons
Pros
It's able to record up to three positions, but you only realistically need two capturing your perfect sitting and standing heights. There is a little wobble on the monitor when typing but nothing that is difficult to deal with.
Shaped using some simple tools such as a reciprocating saw (could use hacksaw) and drills. Easy to assemble. Instructions are wonky so take your time and build.
It's robust, with welds cleaner than my sunday best. Features a lifting mechanism smoother than a buttered slide. Very sturdy and has a big range up and down.
My one gripe is the cable to the control box. Time to dive into the thrilling world of cable management. The motors are very quiet switching between sitting/standing and it is quick.
Very impressed with the quality and sturdiness of the structure. Not as solid as the very expensive ones with add'l bracing, but better than the cheaper ikea versions at any rate. Added an ikesa table top.
Cons
Very frustrated with a low quality product. After using this desk for 1. Years, i'm still very frustrated with it" "very. It's not a high quality product," says customer.
