It comes with all the necessary tools and hardware, making the setup manageable. The only tool you'll need to assemble is an allen wrench. The hardware pieces were contained into separated packets of each bolt type.

My desk is in a tight space and i wanted something that would 1 allow me to adjust the height and 2 not be quite as deep as most desks

I dont plan to raiselower the desk often it only gets raised and lowered to allow me to work under it more easily for cable management
