The pole is made of chrome not plastic as i have seen others say in their reviews

If this was shorter in length it would be perfect for a kitchen roll holder and judging by the other reviews there needs to be a longer version for use as a toilet roll holder maybe this is a case of trying too hard to fit both purposes and not quite meeting either
