The product listing shows hdwn180uzsva (with n) but the disk that arrived was hdwg180uzsva (with g).
I am shocked at the noise of these drives when accessing, they clank about terribly.
Price
Definitely louder than the pair of 4td wd reds they replaced, but the price was good, and they work great in the mycloudmirror (gen 2)
Ticks all the right boxes and the price was decent too (pre chia mining at least).
Packaging/appearance
Packaging for a hard drive wasn't the best but better than some i have experienced.
The packaging could be a lot better, as you would expect a hard drive to be securely packaged in a protective case.

These are also 7200 rpm as opposed to the wd 5400 rpm 2tb units they have replaced.
The synology software warns me that it may not be compatible when i install it.
I installed this on a synology nas with 4 hardrives of other brands (two wd and two sg) and this is the noisier of the 5 when operating.

Dont get one of these if you going to keep it within ear shot they do clunk and bang a bit and sounds like a boiling kettle its not major but defiantly not quiet

When powered the drive spun up then it just did some repeating noises for a while until it gave up

In december 2018 i purchased 7 of these drives at £166ea and almost 3 years later theyre still going strong with only disk having and issue which was replaced under warranty
