Only 2% of hdd has been 'sanitized. This is a poor decision by seagate and the last drive i buy from them. This drive requires you to download seagate formatting tools to use more than 2tb of it. Already has 1024 bad sectors and could not be detected ... Read More
Toshiba needs to step up their game and ensure their products are arriving safely. Given how frail these drives are, it's likely sustained damage due to poor packaging.
The customer service guys are so dumb, all of them couldn't help me and they kept redirecting me to other numbers. Run hot, noisy and have zero reliability.
It is actually older than the drive i'm going to replace by two years. They were manufactured two days apart- in april of 2018.

It was exactly what i needed, it runs great and seems fast enough for my mother in law :)
Perfect replacement for an 8 year old dell pc.
Hdd replaced worn out nvr unit easily and worked fine
Plug and play (reimage desktop tower computer).
Price
This is a 7200 rpm drive which is a plus for the money.
It was cheap and it was what came in the unit many years ago so barring some unexpected issue i'm happy as i can be with it.

Since i had copies on the duplicate hard drive i just duplicated it on another one of these drives and i had 2 duplicates drives again

Also dont store both in the same place

That is why i make 2 duplicates so i can restore off of the other duplicate drive if one of the 2 fails or is destroyed
