I figure by the time the seagates start to go i’ll be back to wd unless they have a serious quality issue like they did about 6 years ago.
I now am partial to agree with that since my 6tb drive did seem to fail first i am hopeful that the 4tb drives will last longer.
Price
Although this is the rare year (2019) when all 3 are on par with each other, the price became the deciding factor.
Excellent product, good fit quality price, 128mb cache, 7200rpm.

Was packaged pretty well and arrived undamaged with no bad sectors.
Competitiveness
I had a 8tb n300 2 years ago , this is my second one , it works perfect and never fail!
My current nas had a mix of 6tb wd red and seagate iron wolf.
This model is suitable for nas build and cheaper than competitor brand for the same performance.
I got this hard drive for a synology nas that i am using for backups and purchased 3 more to make a raid10.
