Pros

Two drives to archive pictures and videos for my family. More than enough storage space e for what i needed (2 tb) still have just over 1. Tb of open space. Plus pretty nerdy to be going around with a 1 terabyte hard drive.

Cons

This product is of absolutely no value to anyone, except maybe the sellers. It will almost guarantee to be malfunctioning on arrival. This thing is garbage.

Everytime i plug it in, it connects for a minute and seems to work (giving me hope), then disconnects. It shuts itself down every couple of minutes and reconnects.

Not able to recover anything from the hard drive. Will ask a techie friend to see if there is any way to recover its contents. Tried disk utility to mount it, but wouldn't work. Stopped working, would mount, but could not read/write. I simply did not ... Read More

If you want to play x/s games from the expansion drive, you’re only option is the 1tb seagate expansion card for $200. It is extremely slow.

Fortunately, i was able to use the backup software package from my old drive and load it on this drive; much, much better.
