It loads fast, and yes i know im such a casual. Pretty much just plug and play, easy setup. Plug and play with no fussy drivers like my old wd drive.
Have the 2 terabyte version. In use for 4 months so far. Used for backup storage for my work desktop. Comes in both 1tb and 2tb sizes. Good value for the money, especially for a tb drive.
Cons
Hate toshiba and hate this seller. All to no avail. Do not recommend.
It also uses a seagate hd not toshiba-that is a deal * right there as seagates have a high failure rate actually the highest 40-45% at 3 years. This is the worst external hd i have ever had.
It's not as if i submitted it to intensive continuous use, or something. The warranty is terrible.

Tldr drive has worked reliably for five years but i would invest in an ssdnewer product that isn’t as dated

Have had this for around 4 years now and i still have not filled it up nor have had any problemsupdate 6 and a half years later and the drives finally dying
