Pros

This is the 2d drive i have replacing cheaper products that didn't hold up. It has a very nice non-flimsy feel to it. Also the price is great as well.

Easy to use and portable. Works better then the dls service. Transfer speed is satisfactory for most.

After format it has a usable capacity of 931gb. The capacity is 3. Tb but its understood. More than enough storage space e for what i needed (2 tb) still have just over 1. Tb of open space.

Cons

Manufacturing is just shoddy enough to outlast the warantee. Toshiba reports the serial number to be out of warranty. Going to buy lacie rugged now instead.

Everytime i plug it in, it connects for a minute and seems to work (giving me hope), then disconnects and my computer says disk not ejected properly. Tried disk utility to mount it, but wouldn't work. Can only use it for one computer3.

A waste of money and more of a waste of precious work hours. This thing is garbage. Don't buy this device.
