As others have mentioned instructions stink and you have to ensure youre downloading the right toshiba app to talk to it

Bought this for 10 to go on to an old 2tb hard drive i had lying around using it with my lenovo tablet and hooked up like a charm downloaded app and everything was plug play i did download bs player as certain formats wouldnt play

This is not a nas and wont give you the same functionality but at this price its great
