I am very satisfied with the recording and dvd playing quality.

In the 4 hour mode, picture quality is pretty much indistinguishable from the original tv broadcast, and you can fit two movies on a disk.

I have had this dvd recorder for quite a few years now and it has never failed to create magnificent recordings for me.

This is a great machine at a great price!

At $100, i highly recommend this unit.

For the price its a super machine.

Can you belive for less than $100 and to think that just a few years ago a vcr/dvd combined player was $250 at xmas time,

I finally got this thing in the mail over the weekend, and i am very impressed so far.

Then i tried maxell dvd-rw discs and that worked well; much better than a vcr.

Played first standard dvd hooked up to sony 1080p hdtv - awesome picture compared to other standard toshiba dvd player that we owned.

I bought this product so i could play dvd-rw discs in dvd-ram format from another dvd-recorder.

This is my first dvd recorder and i wonder if its picture compares to the popular panasonic.
