Cons
The hard drive is bulky and quite thick which is pretty annoying. It's got a horrible boxy shape instead of having nicer rounded edges. It is a shame that such expensive device has low quality.
Pc won’t recognise it, ps4 keeps trying to repair it but then crashes. Does not work even when formatted. Usb lead that connects to the hdd is so loose that it falls out all the time.
It's not as pleasurable to use as toshiba's drives from about five years ago. Nope, don't risk buying this.

It transfers files very fast also which i was impressed with.
2tb for less than £40 and i'm happy.

The price is below 2 pence per gigabyte, so no complaints at all.

This is the 2nd canvio portable hard drive i have purchased.
After scouring the internet for a good price on a 4tb hard drive, i found this seller through amazon which was the cheapest at the time.
It took me all day to transfer and now i have two 500gb hdds for backup which i have done for the photos.
However, compared with a much older samsung 1tb external harddrive the file transfer of videos and music was very quick.

The router only supports two tb partitions so you need to partition the drive into 2 x 2tb before you can use it for this purpose

Had to reformat for the mac as expected when running is quiet but startup isnt as quiet and is noticeable in a quiet room given modern powersaving of things powering down all the time this could be an issue otherwise fine and previous support from tosh has been good
