Pros

Easy to install and works without any issues. Using in a btrfs raid10 (4x1tb, different brands and speeds each one, software raid is amazing! No problems to date and speed is as expected. Toshiba is the brand i trust, for this kind of hd.

Toshiba builds great products. Works great. In my humble opinion. Awesome little drive. Happy with purchase.

An inexpensive way to upgrade your storage. It is super easy to upgrade the 4 storage. Yes it's priced higher, buy nice or buy twice.

It's quiet not as much humming as i had with the seagate. It is quiet and fast and fits fine in a standard height laptop drive bay.

Cons

Warranty is too short to be of any use as the service life of this drive extends just a month or so beyond the end of the warranty. Need to mention the disk could be tampered with.

Competitiveness

Works phenomenally better than the regular 7200rpm hard drive i had before this one.

I also added a 4tb external for game downloads and backups.

It was easy to replace the existing 1tb drive, and the transfer of data from the old to the new went fairly quickly using a startech usb 3.
