They work fine and in most cases may be preferable. They're cheaper, have lower ure rates, and very respectable mtbf times. Speeds are as advertised.

Cons
New incarnation of 'get rich quick dropshipping' amazon need to get them off. Marked as manufacturing date 2018. They were inadequately shipped. Amazon are not able to fulfill this role either.

Fast drive 100/150mb overall very pleaseda bit clunkyover all excellent drive for the money
Time will tell on longevity, but i have no reason to doubt the quality of the product.
Great build quality, feels like a solid lump of metal in the hand, locks into the nas like a piece of military equipment.
Shipping
It's silent and fast with a good guarantee.
Packaging/appearance
Amazon packaging was fine with plenty of paper to stop it all rattling around the amazon box.

I actually like to hear the sound of the heads working so i know its readingwriting data perfectly fine but the spindle sound from the motor is quite loud

The second slight negative is this gets extremely hot even if well ventilated if writing a lot of data its almost too hot to touch the max temperature ive seen is 49 degrees c with windows to go running and powering a windows 10 insider vm but no smart warnings
