So far, so good with the purchase of this drive!
I am very happy with these hard drives i bought 4 of them and plan to buy another 3 for my monster system
In conclusion i'm quite pleased with it, will update if anything changes.
Overall, i have to admit i am pleased with them, but i did have one go bad on me.
Competitiveness
I like these drives a lot - they work great with synology diskstation ds218+ nas.
I popped it into my startech toaster-style sata hard drive holder.

When i called their support i was told that the drive had one of the indicators the drive was about to go bad

Its a bit loud though when its being accessed so while itll do well for most settings it isnt the best choice for a media center

It spun up and then i got a screen dialog saying the disk could not be read and needed to be formatted this is normal with a new drive on a mac

Mine is a generic white label which does say toshiba and 14tb among other data on it
