This drive is a catchall for me. I have it set up where it would eventually just override. If you are using a windows and linux environment you won't have any issues with the initial setup.

Good drive, and at under $30/tb. A photographers answer to having too many hard drives. It is a bit noisy when it is on and get a bit warm but that feels normal for a drive of this capacity.

Cons

Despite attempts to reduce the noise with soundproofing, the low pitch clunking noise can still be heard. It is astonishingly loud. It's not the drive it's the fan in the enclosure the drive is in.
