Pros

The n300 is a great storage solution for large video files. It doubles the storage capacity of a 2tb hard drive. It is also great for recording motion activated videos.

Good drive, and at under $30/tb. Tbs is a lot of space and it's designed for continuous use in surveillance systems. It is real quiet under use, doesn't get hot, and will hopefully last a long long time.

Cons

It's not the drive it's the fan in the enclosure the drive is in.

But overall i'm impressed with the performance and migration of large files (photos, movies) over.

Overall i am pretty happy with the lack of noise from a 6 tb drive and little vibration that occurs.

Shipping

The shipping on this was faster then prime said and that was great.

Packaging/appearance

Then i attached it in turn to each computer on my network and moved all the resident video files on those machines onto the 8tb drive.

Pricewise, this seems to be the same as what i feel as their main competitor in this space, the seagate ironwolf series.

It's fast and has a 3-year warranty.
