Overall i am pretty happy with the lack of noise from a 6 tb drive and little vibration that occurs.
But overall i'm impressed with the performance and migration of large files (photos, movies) over.

The shipping on this was faster then prime said and that was great.

Then i attached it in turn to each computer on my network and moved all the resident video files on those machines onto the 8tb drive.

Pricewise, this seems to be the same as what i feel as their main competitor in this space, the seagate ironwolf series.
It's fast and has a 3-year warranty.

The combination appears to be working fine with no problems although this drive is only being used for storage of documents and media not a particularly demanding task

Ive been migrating off of older smaller portable drives around the house and consolidating storage into a brand new nas 4 bay synology and went with the surveillance drive route since theyre going to be abused pretty regularly with my large photo collection and do media encoding and media serving
