I have used the product with 2 different disks testing a number of video files mkv avi and mp4 and it played seamlessly on both iphone ipad android mac and windows

Heres how i use it this adapter plugged into an anker powercore 10000 toshiba wireless adapter app itunes id id804425173 installed on sons imini and connected to the toshiba xxx wireless network it broadcasts son can watch all his shows streaming from a usb stickat the hotel apple tv is connected to the toshiba xxx wireless network it broadcasts imini streams from usb stick connected to this adapter to apple tv and the same adapter is tethered to my i6 for internet allowing wife to be on the toshiba xxx network on her i6s and access the internet and media on the usb stick while my sp4 is connected to it to send work emails and wirelessly save documents to usb
